Created with the goal of sharing my accumulated knowledge until now as a Character Artist, this workshop has as a priority to provide the student a complete understanding of the production of characters from the concept to completion. Our goal will be the production and finalization of a Cinematic-quality character bust based on an existing or self-created concept of the student.
During this process we will also see technical and production tips, professional guidance, inspiration, motivation and personal development.
TO WHOM IT IS INTENDED
Beginners who want to learn from the beginning to the end an effective production of characters without having to face as many obstacles as trial and error and professionals in the field who wish to improve their work and discover technical tips and different forms of workflow.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
This next Workshop will be based on extreme quality so the students will focus on a smaller area like the character bust. It will last 5 weeks and will be broadcast live via video conference on Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a total of 15 students per class and each student will receive support materials such as anatomical references, textures, alphas, materials and OBJs. A well-defined schedule will be created, where the instructor will create a character bust along with the students, showing all the stages of production. A closed group will be created on Facebook where students can receive feedback and clarify questions with the instructor. Classes cannot be recorded, but videos will be available showing production workflow.
